We all know it's normal for our dads to mix up our names with those of our siblings. I mean, I'm pretty sure my dad has called me the dog's name before finally getting to mine (actually, it's happened more than once).

However, when it comes to our boyfriends… memory loss is not a valid excuse. Things get worse when their description of our role in their lives is intentionally inaccurate or, as some might say, a straight-up lie.

Picture this: You're having a calm little date night with your boo. For context, his personality could be described as 'playful', perhaps even giving a little class-clown energy.
